I began my journey in the Spa industry 10 years ago.  I Studied Esthetics at the Aveda Institute NY. I am a New York State Licensed Esthetician.  

At Aveda we were taught not only the science of the skincare but also intricate massage techniques that included lymphatic drainage and Ayurvedic techniques for skincare that treated the whole person not just the face-it was mind and body .  I also became aware of ingredients in skincare products and began to learn the difference of organic vs. natural and the others…

I opened my Green Lotus Skincare Spa in 2014 with the mindset of being as green as possible and to offer my clients safe clean and organic products and adopting practices taught such as using towels for the face and recycling and reducing waste.  All was going well until I had to close my Business Location due to family illness.

I became injured in 2016 and had to go through a couple years of physical therapy.  This situation landed me in a humble position…and this is moment more of the learning began.  A friend, Aba, sent me a link to some seminars- and that connected me back to an opportunity of knowledge and learning that has now become my purpose to teach-share-inspire!!

The Green Lotus Skin Boutique is uniquely position to fill the current need and trend for ‘Clean Beauty’ delivered by way of organic skin care using a holistic approach to mindfulness and the wellbeing of the entire person.  I have layered my knowledge by adding aromatherapy and herbal plant medicine to better serve my clients. 

I have deep gratitude gratefulness for those who have taught me so much and their infinite wisdom and teachings have inspired me to take it to the next level and teach others.  I am now in this space of feeling very connected with nature by planting and growing my own herbs, to be used as plant medicine and being a conduit for change in my community.

Just before the Pandemic hit, I was on the verge of re-opening my skincare business but so many of us were shut down. In that moment of pause and silence created the pivot to start making, growing and creating products that has filled a new purpose and it has not stopped.  

Green Lotus Skin Boutique’s – Herbal Apothecary, currently offers several handcrafted Herbal Infused Oils and body butters that are nourishing for the skin with more products being planned. So stay tuned!!
